So, last week I told you a little about the new Dwell store that's recently opened in Manchester and showed you a couple of looks I styled up in their showroom (if you missed it, you can read all about it here).
Well I'm back with some more looks for you today, so let's start off in the bedroom shall we?
Dwell's furniture mostly sits in the slick, modern design camp, so as a base for a bedroom look, I chose this crisply white lacquerMonza bedframe, which gives a stylish, but blank canvas to build your bedroom look on. Floral bed linen is never going to be my thing, but Dwell has a nice selection of bed sheets with a bit more of a masculine edge, including this blue chevron design which isn't currently only available in the Dwell store.
Much stronger is Dwell's collection of bedspreads - gorgeous, textural throws that give a luxurious finish to a bed.
This room set is very cohesive, bringing together some of Dwell's range which uses the same material. To accompany the bed frame, I've placed this side table, which gives space for lots of accessories which pick out the colours of the room like this glass vase.
Shall we move on to the living room?
When I spotted this two seater Faro sofa in the showroom, I know I wanted to use it for a set. It's a super bright pop of colour that really makes your seating a focal point of the room. Though the website says its a mustard shade, it really was more of a zingy chartreuse in person, and I loved the idea of paring down the bright shade with rich, masculine browns.
I love marble as a texture - it's luxurious and grandiose even in the smallest of room settings, and it works in so many different design contexts. This coffee table is pretty perfect in shape and size for a lot of rooms - I definitely want one for myself.
As I said last time, Dwell are also great for some quirky little trinkets - this little blinged out lizard was joined on the coffee table by an espresso cup from their dinnerware range, and my own marble-effect vase. I loved how the colours of this vase and the greenery in it sat against the sofa.
This colour scheme is definitely something different to my usual style, but I really enjoyed playing around with all these bits from Dwell's collection.
That's all for now - head back next week for a little styling session in my own home using some more goodies from Dwell!
