BRINGING SPRING INTO THE HOME WITH WOODWICK®

To bring a touch of spring to my home this season, I’m looking to a recent holiday and a light and airy home fragrance

[This blog had been created as part of a paid collaboration with WoodWick®]

If you follow me over on social media - you’ll know I recently just returned from a short trip to Japan. It was such an incredible place, and I saw so much that inspired me in the way of design.

One of my favourite parts of the trip was going to see the blossom trees - it was a little early in the year for it, but we were lucky that the first trees had started to bloom. It really got me feeling that spring is oncoming, and as soon as I got home, I was ready to make those small changes that transform the atmosphere.

With that in mind, I went foraging for a bit of blossom to restyle my space, swapping out my more autumnal branches for a more spring-like display, and decided to change up my home’s scent with a different fragrance from WoodWick® that set the tone for the new season.

While I did bring a few souvenirs home with me that are giving my home that extra Japandi-style vibe right now, when it comes to picking a spring fragrance, it’s all about a light touch. I’m bringing this in with WoodWick candles in Sagewood & Seagrass, which has an airy, yet still invigorating quality.

Sagewood & Seagrass has notes of citrus and white sage, while also calling to mind ocean minerals that bring a refreshing freshness to the scent overall. It has a clean, crispness that I really love.

So, I’ve got a new home fragrance for the season, and I’ve brought spring indoors to all my vases - all we need now is the thermostat to read a few degrees higher and I’ll really feel like spring has sprung.
