LINEN TABLESCAPE: STYLING A TEXTURAL DINING LOOK

[This post is a paid collaboration with Woodwick]

INSPIRED BY LINEN - NOT ONLY A TEXTILE BUT A SCENT FROM WOODWICK’S CORE RANGE - I’VE CREATED THIS LAYERED, TEXTURED TABLESCAPE

I love linen. It’s such a beautiful textile and, best of all, it might be the only fabric known to man that actually looks better creased? Linen is relaxed, it’s easy-going, it adds texture - and funnily enough, that’s something that’s perfectly capture in the scent of linen too.

You might remember I was singing the praises of this very slightly fiery Chilli Pepper Gelato scented candle from Woodwick a little while back, the Linen scent from Woodwick’s core range has a very different vibe. It’s soft, light and breezy, adding a subtler texture to your home’s scent that’s perfect for background burning for hours and hours.

Taking these characteristics from both the textile and scented candle, I created a little dining set-up with some of my new favourite things. Want to take a look?

I’ve picked three main motifs for this Linen-inspired look:

  • Flowing curves and irregular shapes, inspired by rouches in the fabric

  • Neutrals - muted, light shades are pretty much synonymous with linen

  • Items with interesting and rough textures and natural patina

This look has become a moodboard for me of what I want my studio space to be styled like now. I love the colour palette and mix of shapes - it feels super sophisticated and cosy. Warm neutrals are still the one for me!

Obviously, shooting this set up was a nice excuse to light my Linen scented candle from Woodwick too. It really does add to the ambience, not only because of the scent, but with the Crackle Wick too.

So what do you think of my Linen-inspired look? Drop a comment below and let me know.
